Hypnotherapy for Blushing
Most people know what its like to blush. Most of the time, it’s considered an endearing reaction and almost always happens in a social context. However there are those for whom blushing is a major issue in their lives. Often an anxiety or embarrassment can trigger blushing, but what if the idea itself, that you might blush, triggers it.
The fear of the consequences can trigger the problem
Whilst perceived by the sufferer as the key problem, blushing is in fact an autonomic reaction. The sub-conscious part of the mind believes that in some way the sufferer is in danger and so triggers the blush as a defensive mechanism much as a Blowfish inflates it’s body when threatened, the natural reaction known as the “fight or flight” response.
By using hypnotherapy for blushing to treat the problem I can uncover the cause of the threat which is causing your sub-conscious mind to trigger the blushing. Once identified, I can reason with your sub-conscious and get it to react in a more appropriate manner.

Perhaps the reaction is unfounded, in which case work can be done to tackle the sub-conscious reasons for this. Perhaps it is founded, and then I can work with the sub-conscious to find a more appropriate way of reacting which does not upset my client or their sub-conscious. I would hope to at least find a more bearable and less recognisable outlet for the sub-conscious. By using hypnotherapy for blushing I help my clients boost their confidence and self worth. Doing this we can discourage blushing.
